8/13/14 - Ginny's Grey finished 2nd today in her MTO spot at Saratoga. At the top of the stretch it looked like she was going to take charge but just couldn't dig in and pass the winner. She earned $11,600 in her first start for us off the claim.

1/21/14 - Howaboutwe finished 8th beaten about 10 lengths at the OBS Championship Stakes. He was wide early and ran evenly
1/14/14 - Howaboutwe is entered in the $100k OBS Championship Stakes to be run at 1 mile and a 1/16th next Tuesday, January 21st. Howaboutwe will break from post 8 in a field of 11 with Abdiel Jaen in the irons. Post time is 3PM. Howaboutwe put in his final prep work for the race today breezing 4 furlongs in 48 seconds flat.
1/12/14 - Chloe Bear will make her next start in the 9th race at Aqueduct on Friday (post time 4:17). It is a $16k NW2L claimer going one mile on the inner dirt. Chloe Bear will break from post position 3 in a full field of 10 with Apprentice Trevor McCarthy aboard.
1/5/14 - Cay to Pomeroy ran a promising first race off the claim for us. Off as the co-second choice in the wagering, Cay to Pomeroy broke alertly under Manny Franco and quickly took the lead, as planned. He lead throughout the race and going around the turn, the favorite Saint Aurthur gained ground to race head to head. Off the turn, Cay to Pomeroy gained a quick lead but Saint Aurthur took the lead at the 1/8th pole. Cay to Pomeroy battled back and got a head in front at the 1/16th pole but ended up losing by a neck at the finish.
1/1/14 - We look to start 2014 off right with Cay to Pomeroy in the first race at Aqueduct on Friday. It is a $20k NW3L claimer going 5.5 furlongs. Apprentice Manny Franco is aboard so we get a 5 pound weight break which I think may really help us in this race. Cay to Pomeroy breaks from the outside post 6.
12/28/13 - After losing Off My Cloud yesterday for $35k, we turned around and claimed Pontus today out of the 5th race at Aqueduct for $35k. Pontus pressured testing opening fractions and hung on to finish second.
12/27/13 - Off My Cloud finished an even third today losing to the front running favorite by 3 lengths. Off My Cloud sat off the pace as she was not able to keep up with the front running speed but saved ground running along the rail the entire race. She kept coming at the end, but evenly, and was not able to catch the front two finishers. Off My Cloud was claimed away today for the $35k tag.
12/26/13 - Chloe Bear will make her next start in the 7th race at Aqueduct on Sunday. It is a NY Bred AOC N1x going 1 mile 70 yards on the inner dirt. Chloe Bear breaks from post position 5 in a field of 10 fillies and mares with apprentice Manuel Franco aboard. We are adding blinkers for this race to make Chloe Bear focus more and hopefully add some aggression.
12/22/13 - Off My Cloud will make her next start in the 5th race at Aqueduct on Friday, December 27th. It is a $35k NW3/3YO Claimer going 6 furlongs on the dirt.
12/18/13 - Howaboutwe outran his odds again today to finish 4th in the $100k Damon Runyon Stakes. He broke well and tucked in down on the rail going into the first turn. He did get out a little but Howaboutwe settled in nicely down the backstretch and was able to run out in the four path clear of all the mud. When Arroyo asked Howaboutwe for some run going into the far turn, her responded well and kept up with the rest of the field. Howaboutwe was forced to go wide into the stretch costing him some ground but continued to fight on gamely to stay on for fourth.
12/16/13 - Howaboutwe will make his next start in the $100k Damon Runyon Stakes which is carded as the 3rd race on Wednesday at Aqueduct. Howaboutwe breaks from post position 3 in a 6 horse field with Angel Arroyo back aboard. Should be a fun race as it is the first time any of these NY Bred 2YO's will be going two turns on the dirt.
12/12/13 - Currency Union ran 2nd in her first race at Gulfstream Park today losing out by a neck in a N1x Allowance spot. She earned just about $10k for the effort bringing her career earnings to $114k.
12/11/13 - River Boss finished fourth in his race today at Aqueduct and was claimed away by Linda Rice. River Boss won 2 of his 5 starts for us. We wish River and his new connections the best of luck.
12/9/13 - Currency Union will make her next start in the 3rd race at Gulfstream on Friday in a N1x Allowance going 6 furlongs. Joe Rocco gets the call.
12/7/13 - River Boss will make his next start in the 9th race at Aqueduct this Thursday in a $16k NW3/3YO claimer going 1 mile on the dirt. River Boss breaks from post position three in a full field of ten horses with Rajiv Maragh aboard. Post time is 4:12.
12/4/13 - Off My Cloud came from out of the clouds to finish second by a fast closing neck in today's second race at Aqueduct. Off as the 3/1 second favorite, the filly was further back in the opening stages of the race than we had planned which probably hurt us losing by such a slim margin. Off My Cloud raced about 7 lengths behind the leaders who set quick early fractions. Irad Ortiz kept her under wrap coming around the turn, angled Off My Cloud outside and let her fire down the stretch.
11/30/13 - We won a five way shake for the 3YO NY Bred Cay to Pomeroy. We claimed him out of the 3rd race at Aqueduct today with our partners at Epona Racing.
11/29/13 - Off My Cloud will make her first start off the claim for us in the 2nd race on Wednesday in a $35k NW2/3YO claiming event going 6 furlongs. She breaks from post position 4 in a field of 10 with Irad Ortiz aboard. Off My Cloud is built like a sprinter and has always showed good speed so we hope the turn back will suit her well. Post time for the race is 12:49.
11/25/13 - Miss Narcissist, the two year old full sister to our Freud / Mighty Good yearling won the Fifth Avenue Division of the NY Stallion Stakes Series yesterday at Aqueduct. Miss Narcissist now has 3 wins in 4 starts with $224k in earnings.
11/24/13 - Chloe Bear will make her next start in the 2nd race on Friday in a NY Bred ALW N1x going a mile on the dirt with a post time of 12:28. Cornelio Velazquez gets the call in Chloe Bear's return to the dirt. Chloe Bear breaks from post position 4 in field of 8 horses.
11/22/13 - River Boss' race was taken off the turf around 11:15 this morning. Sent off as the 5-2 favorite, River Boss won by half a length after a great ride by Javier Castellano. River Boss was starting to make a move going into the turn,
went wide around the turn, and then cleared the field to find running room on the rail. River Boss won $19,200 for today's win which brings his earnings to $43,600 for the four races that we have owned him.

11/1/13 - We are happy to announce Final Furlong Racing Stable's newest acquisition: a NY Bred yearling filly by Roaring Fever out of Try Your Best. She is a full sister to current 2YO winner Captain Toews. She is currently in training in Ocala with Ali de Meric and Brandon Rice.

10/16/13 - River Boss ran another good race on Monday to end up finishing fourth beaten by just a length for the win. River Boss was very pace compromised and was stuck on the rail most of the race.

10/6/13 - We are pleased to announce our most recent acquisition, a NY Bred yearling filly by Noonmark out of Crystal Sweet. She is the half sister to our very own Freddie Freud. We were very happy to be able to add another fine NY Bred filly to the stable this year.

9/29/13 - Freddie Freud has been working very well for his racing debut posting a series of 48 flat works. We are pointing him towards a NY Bred MSW at Belmont on October 9th.
9/25/13 - Bobby Jo finished third beaten eight lengths today in her race at Belmont.
9/24/13 - Howaboutwe is scheduled to make his next start in the 3rd race at Belmont on Thursday. It is a NY Bred Allowance Optional Claimer going 6 furlongs. The race filled with six horses, two of which are coming from the Jena Antonucci barn. Howaboutwe drew post 2 with Jose Ortiz named to ride.
9/23/13 - Chloe Bear ran a great first race off the claim today to finish third beaten less than three lengths in an Allowance race that ended up being worth $92k. Chloe Bear was full of run but under tight hold by Cornelio Velazquez most of the way. By the time a whole opened, they were only 1/16th out and Chloe Bear was only able to get up for third. Very proud of the filly. We are looking forward to her next race!
9/22/13 - Bobby Jo is entered in the 2nd race at Belmont on Wednesday in a Starter Allowance $16k going 7 furlongs. She has drawn post 5 in a field of 8 and will be ridden by Javier Castellano.
9/21/13 - River Boss won the fifth race at Belmont today going off as the 2/1 favorite. River Boss got the perfect trip under Javier Castellano. They broke well and sat just off the pace. River Boss started making a move around the far turn and hooked up with the leader at the top of the stretch. Those two battled out down the lane and River Boss gutted it out to win by a nose.
9/20/13 - Chloe Bear will make her first start off the claim on Sunday at Belmont in the 8th race. It is a NW1X Allowance for NY Breds going 1 1/16 on the turf with a purse of $77k. Chloe Bear breaks from post position 3 in a full field of 10 with Cornelio Velasquez aboard. Post time is 4:45.

9/2/13 - Bobby Jo won the 5th race at Saratoga today in a thrilling way. She came from 7 lengths off the pace to get up to win in a dead heat. Bobby Jo broke slow and was kept at the back of the pack. Castellano started making a big move at the top of the stretch and kept hacking away at the lead. I thought Bobby Jo got a nose in front for the outright win but it was declared a dead heat. The final time for the 5.5 furlong sprint was 1:04.93 in the off going so the time was respectful for the conditions.
8/31/13 - Howaboutwe finished 4th in the Law Enforcement Stakes at Saratoga this weekend.
8/29/13 - Freddie Freud had his first official 4 furlong breeze this morning. Freddie breezed with two other horses. The trio went in 49.55 seconds. It was the 4th fastest time out of 15 moves at the distance.
8/27/13 - Howaboutwe is entered in the $100k Law Enforcement Stakes for NY Bred 2YO's going 6 furlongs on Friday at Saratoga. Good luck to Howaboutwe in his stakes debut.
8/19/13 - We claimed Chloe Bear out of the 4th race at Saratoga today with our friends at Epona Racing. Chloe Bear finished a very impressive third after a troubled trip forcing her to race at the back of the pack. We look forward to getting Chloe Bear back in to some NY Bred allowance races at Belmont.
8/18/13 - Howaboutwe is nominated to the Grade II With Anticipation Stakes, the NY Bred Law Enforcement Stakes, the Grade I Hopeful and the Aspirant Stakes.
8/14/13 - Howaboutwe won the 2nd race at Saratoga yesterday as the 8/5 favorite. He broke well from the gate and sat just off the pace setter through opening fractions of 22.2 and 46.1. Irad made a move around the far turn and locked up with Carolinian at the top of the stretch. Those two battled half way down the stretch before Howaboutwe started to draw
off to win by two. The final time over the good track was 1.05.2. Howaboutwe received a 63 Beyer which is a slight improvement over his first race.

8/5/13 - Bobby Jo finished third today in her race at Saratoga ass the 6/5 favorite. Bobby Jo made her typical gutsy move down the lane but it was only good for 3rd in a field with a lot of speed and over a track that is typically speed favoring.
8/3/13 - Bobby Jo will make her next start in the 6th race at Saratoga on Monday in an Allowance NW1x going 6 furlongs on the dirt. She has been installed as the 9/5 morning line favorite.
8/2/13 - Howaboutwe held on to score an impressive third yesterday in his debut at Saratoga. Reluctant to load into the gate, he sprung out of the gate to take the initial lead. He sat just off the pace around the far turn. Howaboutwe was in between horse at the top of the stretch and battled gamely down the lane to hang on for third.

7/29/13 - We claimed River Boss out of the 5th race at Saratoga today in partnership with our friends at Epona Racing. River Boss was bumped at the start took up position at the rear of the field and made a move through the far turn to get up for 5th beaten by about 4 lengths.
7/22/13 - Howaboutwe turned in his final preparation for his first race this morning going 4 furlongs over the Oklahoma turf in 48.90 seconds. It was the 21st fastest breeze out of 49 moves at the distance.
7/14/13 - Howaboutwe competed in the 2YO Wait Time Trials at Saratoga today during the Open House. He finished 3rd beaten about two lengths. It was a good experience for the 2YO colt as he puts it all together.
7/8/13 - Howaboutwe arrived safely at Saratoga last week and breezed 4 furlongs for the first time over the Oklahoma training track in 50.70 seconds.
7/7/13 - Bobby Jo got a terrible ride today but finished a bold 3rd after fighting from far back in the field to get up for 3rd and just missing 2nd at the wire. She showed she can get a distance of ground and we look forward to her making her next start at Saratoga.

5/10/13 - Going off as the 1/1 favorite, Bobby Jo ran another great and exciting race today at Belmont. She broke well and settled in behind the leaders on the rail. She stalked the pace setters around the turn. Castellano angled her out into the 3 path coming off the turn and rallied down the stretch to just catch the leader 3 strides before the wire. She lost in a head bob to finish second by a nose. Another great effort by Bobby Jo.

4/10/13 - Bobby Jo's first start for us was very impressive and exciting. She stumbled at the start, rushed up to stalk the leader and just missed finishing 2nd by half a length in a speedy 1.09.4. She earned a Beyer Speed figure of 83 for the effort. We look forward to seeing her progress further in her next start at Belmont next month.
4/7/13 - Bobby Jo will make her first start for her new connections in the 3rd race at Aqueduct this Wednesday in the Hip Wolf Handicap. 3/1/13 - Late Starter finished a tight second today off short rest. He was unable to hold on for the win as the hard charging Visionary Man got up just in time to win by 3/4 length. Late Starter was claimed for the $50k tag. We wish his new owners the best of the luck with this talented runner.
2/25/13 - Late Starter will make his first start for the partnership this Friday, March 1st, in the 7th race at Aqueduct. It is a Starter Optional Claimer $50k going 1 mile 70 yards over the Big A Inner. Apprentice Jose Ortiz retains the mount as Late Starter looks to make it four in a row over the surface.
2/21/13 - Final Furlong Racing Stable claimed Late Start out of the 7th race at Aqueduct today in partnership with Epona Racing. In this effort, Late Starter won his third straight race by over 8 lenghts earning a 94 Beyer speed figure. Bruce Brown will train the 4YO gelding for the partnership.
2/8/13 - Our 2YO Freud colt is very close to selling out. We only have one 2.5% share available. He is doing great and is up to galloping a mile and a half each day on the farm in Ocala.
12/27/12 - Annelle finished another gutsy 2nd in her race today. It was her third 2nd in a row for us. She was claimed out of the race by Jamie Ness. We wish her new connections the best of luck. She was a fun filly to own.
12/22/12 - Annelle fired the bullet this morning at Belmont going 3 furlongs in 36.41 seconds in preparation for her race on Thursday. It was the fastest breeze out of 7 works recorded at the distance.
12/21/12 - Candy Raid will make her next start in the 4th race at Aqueduct on Thursday, Dec. 27th. The race is a MSW for NY Bred 2YO fillies going a mile and 70 yards on the inner dirt. Pablo Morales gets the call.

12/17/12 - Union Boss has been retired from racing and has joined the Final Furlong broodmare band at Hidden Lake Farm. We look forward to supporting her as a broodmare and watching her foals race one day.
12/16/12 - Annelle was entered in the 9th race at Aqueduct today. She drew on to Alternate Entry list and was scratched out of the race. We will look for a spot for Annelle the first week after the Christmas break.

12/5/12 - Annelle finished second in her race today at Aqueduct. She broke well and lead the way through opening fractions of 47 flat. She gave up the lead at the top of the stretch but held on for a solid second place showing.
12/2/12 - Candy Raid had a 3 furlong blowout on Saturday in anticipation of her debut on Friday. The race was not used by the racing office but will be brought back for next Sunday.
12/1/12 - Annelle will make her next start in the 2nd race at Aqueduct on Wednesday, December 5th. It is a $15k claimer for NW2or 3YO's going a mile on the dirt. Apprentice Wilmer Garcia retains the mount. They break from post position 4 in a 9 horse field. Post time is 12:58.

10/27/12 - Final Furlong Racing Stable claimed Union Boss out of the 3rd race at Belmont on Saturday in partnership with G and O Farms. She will be trained by Jena Antonucci. 9/28/12 - Caution Flammable arrived at Jena Antonucci's barn in Saratoga this morning. He shipped in well and will continue training at Saratoga until we shift the barn to Belmont for the winter in about two weeks.
9/27/12 - Annelle breezed 5 furlongs in 1:02.88 seconds this morning at Saratoga. It was the 2nd fastest move out of 6 works at the distance. We will enter her next Thursday for a race on Sunday.
9/21/12 - Candy Raid had her first recorded breeze today. She breezed 3 furlongs in 39 seconds over the Oklahoma training track at Saratoga. She did it all on her own with no urging from the rider. She will work in company next week and we will ask a little more of her.
9/20/12 - Annelle fired the bullet this morning at Saratoga over the Oklahoma training track. She breezed 4 furlongs in 48.1 seconds.
9/18/12 - Annelle is currently training in Saratoga and is being pointed to a race at Belmont on October 7th.
9/13/12 - Candy Raid arrived at Jena Antonucci's barn in Saratoga, NY this afternoon. Candy Raid will be trained by Jena, who will soon be moving her string of horses down to Belmont next month.
9/9/12 - Candy Raid breezed 4 furlongs in 50 seconds flat over a muddy track on the farm in Ocala on Saturday. It was her third breeze at the distance. She is ready to ship up to NY. She will be on the next van leaving Ocala for NY.
9/2/12 - We are happy to announce our newest acquisition. Final Furlong Racing Stable claimed the 3YO filly Annelle out of the 6th race at Saratoga today in partnership with Epona Racing. Annelle is already a two time winner and is a very versatile runner proven on every surface. Bruce Brown will train Annelle for the partnership. We look forward to her running for her new connections during the Belmont Fall meet.
8/23/12 - Legal Affect finished 3rd in her race yesterday. She broke modestly well and quickly took back to run in last. She sat about 15 lengths off the leader and made her signature late move to get up for 3rd. She closes well every time which makes for a thrilling stretch run. She was so far back she did not have a chance at running for second. She lost to the leader by 11 lengths and to the second place finisher by 5. Legal Affect finished a length in front of B and B who beat Legal Affect by a few lengths in her last race.

1/31/14 - Cay To Pomeory Wins as the favorite today at the Big A!! He was claimed away from us after earning about $22,000 in the 2 short months we owned him.
1/21/14 - Howaboutwe finished 8th beaten about 10 lengths at the OBS Championship Stakes. He was wide early and ran evenly
1/14/14 - Howaboutwe is entered in the $100k OBS Championship Stakes to be run at 1 mile and a 1/16th next Tuesday, January 21st. Howaboutwe will break from post 8 in a field of 11 with Abdiel Jaen in the irons. Post time is 3PM. Howaboutwe put in his final prep work for the race today breezing 4 furlongs in 48 seconds flat.
1/12/14 - Chloe Bear will make her next start in the 9th race at Aqueduct on Friday (post time 4:17). It is a $16k NW2L claimer going one mile on the inner dirt. Chloe Bear will break from post position 3 in a full field of 10 with Apprentice Trevor McCarthy aboard.
1/5/14 - Cay to Pomeroy ran a promising first race off the claim for us. Off as the co-second choice in the wagering, Cay to Pomeroy broke alertly under Manny Franco and quickly took the lead, as planned. He lead throughout the race and going around the turn, the favorite Saint Aurthur gained ground to race head to head. Off the turn, Cay to Pomeroy gained a quick lead but Saint Aurthur took the lead at the 1/8th pole. Cay to Pomeroy battled back and got a head in front at the 1/16th pole but ended up losing by a neck at the finish.
1/1/14 - We look to start 2014 off right with Cay to Pomeroy in the first race at Aqueduct on Friday. It is a $20k NW3L claimer going 5.5 furlongs. Apprentice Manny Franco is aboard so we get a 5 pound weight break which I think may really help us in this race. Cay to Pomeroy breaks from the outside post 6.
12/28/13 - After losing Off My Cloud yesterday for $35k, we turned around and claimed Pontus today out of the 5th race at Aqueduct for $35k. Pontus pressured testing opening fractions and hung on to finish second.
12/27/13 - Off My Cloud finished an even third today losing to the front running favorite by 3 lengths. Off My Cloud sat off the pace as she was not able to keep up with the front running speed but saved ground running along the rail the entire race. She kept coming at the end, but evenly, and was not able to catch the front two finishers. Off My Cloud was claimed away today for the $35k tag.
12/26/13 - Chloe Bear will make her next start in the 7th race at Aqueduct on Sunday. It is a NY Bred AOC N1x going 1 mile 70 yards on the inner dirt. Chloe Bear breaks from post position 5 in a field of 10 fillies and mares with apprentice Manuel Franco aboard. We are adding blinkers for this race to make Chloe Bear focus more and hopefully add some aggression.
12/22/13 - Off My Cloud will make her next start in the 5th race at Aqueduct on Friday, December 27th. It is a $35k NW3/3YO Claimer going 6 furlongs on the dirt.
12/18/13 - Howaboutwe outran his odds again today to finish 4th in the $100k Damon Runyon Stakes. He broke well and tucked in down on the rail going into the first turn. He did get out a little but Howaboutwe settled in nicely down the backstretch and was able to run out in the four path clear of all the mud. When Arroyo asked Howaboutwe for some run going into the far turn, her responded well and kept up with the rest of the field. Howaboutwe was forced to go wide into the stretch costing him some ground but continued to fight on gamely to stay on for fourth.
12/16/13 - Howaboutwe will make his next start in the $100k Damon Runyon Stakes which is carded as the 3rd race on Wednesday at Aqueduct. Howaboutwe breaks from post position 3 in a 6 horse field with Angel Arroyo back aboard. Should be a fun race as it is the first time any of these NY Bred 2YO's will be going two turns on the dirt.
12/12/13 - Currency Union ran 2nd in her first race at Gulfstream Park today losing out by a neck in a N1x Allowance spot. She earned just about $10k for the effort bringing her career earnings to $114k.
12/11/13 - River Boss finished fourth in his race today at Aqueduct and was claimed away by Linda Rice. River Boss won 2 of his 5 starts for us. We wish River and his new connections the best of luck.
12/9/13 - Currency Union will make her next start in the 3rd race at Gulfstream on Friday in a N1x Allowance going 6 furlongs. Joe Rocco gets the call.
12/7/13 - River Boss will make his next start in the 9th race at Aqueduct this Thursday in a $16k NW3/3YO claimer going 1 mile on the dirt. River Boss breaks from post position three in a full field of ten horses with Rajiv Maragh aboard. Post time is 4:12.
12/4/13 - Off My Cloud came from out of the clouds to finish second by a fast closing neck in today's second race at Aqueduct. Off as the 3/1 second favorite, the filly was further back in the opening stages of the race than we had planned which probably hurt us losing by such a slim margin. Off My Cloud raced about 7 lengths behind the leaders who set quick early fractions. Irad Ortiz kept her under wrap coming around the turn, angled Off My Cloud outside and let her fire down the stretch.
11/30/13 - We won a five way shake for the 3YO NY Bred Cay to Pomeroy. We claimed him out of the 3rd race at Aqueduct today with our partners at Epona Racing.
11/29/13 - Off My Cloud will make her first start off the claim for us in the 2nd race on Wednesday in a $35k NW2/3YO claiming event going 6 furlongs. She breaks from post position 4 in a field of 10 with Irad Ortiz aboard. Off My Cloud is built like a sprinter and has always showed good speed so we hope the turn back will suit her well. Post time for the race is 12:49.
11/25/13 - Miss Narcissist, the two year old full sister to our Freud / Mighty Good yearling won the Fifth Avenue Division of the NY Stallion Stakes Series yesterday at Aqueduct. Miss Narcissist now has 3 wins in 4 starts with $224k in earnings.
11/24/13 - Chloe Bear will make her next start in the 2nd race on Friday in a NY Bred ALW N1x going a mile on the dirt with a post time of 12:28. Cornelio Velazquez gets the call in Chloe Bear's return to the dirt. Chloe Bear breaks from post position 4 in field of 8 horses.
11/22/13 - River Boss' race was taken off the turf around 11:15 this morning. Sent off as the 5-2 favorite, River Boss won by half a length after a great ride by Javier Castellano. River Boss was starting to make a move going into the turn,
went wide around the turn, and then cleared the field to find running room on the rail. River Boss won $19,200 for today's win which brings his earnings to $43,600 for the four races that we have owned him.

11/1/13 - We are happy to announce Final Furlong Racing Stable's newest acquisition: a NY Bred yearling filly by Roaring Fever out of Try Your Best. She is a full sister to current 2YO winner Captain Toews. She is currently in training in Ocala with Ali de Meric and Brandon Rice.

9/29/13 - Freddie Freud has been working very well for his racing debut posting a series of 48 flat works. We are pointing him towards a NY Bred MSW at Belmont on October 9th.
9/25/13 - Bobby Jo finished third beaten eight lengths today in her race at Belmont.
9/24/13 - Howaboutwe is scheduled to make his next start in the 3rd race at Belmont on Thursday. It is a NY Bred Allowance Optional Claimer going 6 furlongs. The race filled with six horses, two of which are coming from the Jena Antonucci barn. Howaboutwe drew post 2 with Jose Ortiz named to ride.
9/23/13 - Chloe Bear ran a great first race off the claim today to finish third beaten less than three lengths in an Allowance race that ended up being worth $92k. Chloe Bear was full of run but under tight hold by Cornelio Velazquez most of the way. By the time a whole opened, they were only 1/16th out and Chloe Bear was only able to get up for third. Very proud of the filly. We are looking forward to her next race!
9/22/13 - Bobby Jo is entered in the 2nd race at Belmont on Wednesday in a Starter Allowance $16k going 7 furlongs. She has drawn post 5 in a field of 8 and will be ridden by Javier Castellano.
9/21/13 - River Boss won the fifth race at Belmont today going off as the 2/1 favorite. River Boss got the perfect trip under Javier Castellano. They broke well and sat just off the pace. River Boss started making a move around the far turn and hooked up with the leader at the top of the stretch. Those two battled out down the lane and River Boss gutted it out to win by a nose.
9/20/13 - Chloe Bear will make her first start off the claim on Sunday at Belmont in the 8th race. It is a NW1X Allowance for NY Breds going 1 1/16 on the turf with a purse of $77k. Chloe Bear breaks from post position 3 in a full field of 10 with Cornelio Velasquez aboard. Post time is 4:45.
9/19/13 - River Boss has been installed as the 5/2 morning line favorite for his race on Saturday.
9/18/13 - River Boss will make his first start off the claim for us in the 5th race at Belmont on Saturday. It is a NW2L/3YO $25k claimer going 9 furlongs on the turf. Leading rider Javier Castellano will ride. Post time for the race is 3:09.

9/2/13 - Bobby Jo won the 5th race at Saratoga today in a thrilling way. She came from 7 lengths off the pace to get up to win in a dead heat. Bobby Jo broke slow and was kept at the back of the pack. Castellano started making a big move at the top of the stretch and kept hacking away at the lead. I thought Bobby Jo got a nose in front for the outright win but it was declared a dead heat. The final time for the 5.5 furlong sprint was 1:04.93 in the off going so the time was respectful for the conditions.
8/31/13 - Howaboutwe finished 4th in the Law Enforcement Stakes at Saratoga this weekend.
8/29/13 - Freddie Freud had his first official 4 furlong breeze this morning. Freddie breezed with two other horses. The trio went in 49.55 seconds. It was the 4th fastest time out of 15 moves at the distance.
8/27/13 - Howaboutwe is entered in the $100k Law Enforcement Stakes for NY Bred 2YO's going 6 furlongs on Friday at Saratoga. Good luck to Howaboutwe in his stakes debut.
8/19/13 - We claimed Chloe Bear out of the 4th race at Saratoga today with our friends at Epona Racing. Chloe Bear finished a very impressive third after a troubled trip forcing her to race at the back of the pack. We look forward to getting Chloe Bear back in to some NY Bred allowance races at Belmont.
8/18/13 - Howaboutwe is nominated to the Grade II With Anticipation Stakes, the NY Bred Law Enforcement Stakes, the Grade I Hopeful and the Aspirant Stakes.
8/14/13 - Howaboutwe won the 2nd race at Saratoga yesterday as the 8/5 favorite. He broke well from the gate and sat just off the pace setter through opening fractions of 22.2 and 46.1. Irad made a move around the far turn and locked up with Carolinian at the top of the stretch. Those two battled half way down the stretch before Howaboutwe started to draw
off to win by two. The final time over the good track was 1.05.2. Howaboutwe received a 63 Beyer which is a slight improvement over his first race.

8/12/13 - Howaboutwe is entered as an MTO for Wednesday's 2nd race at Saratoga. It is a MSW for NY Bred colts going 5.5 furlongs on the turf. They are calling for rain on Tuesday so if the turf is soft enough, we could get a chance to run.8/11/13 - We are pleased to announce that we purchased a Ghostzapper filly out of the NY Bred yearling sale at Saratoga today. We are very happy to add such an outstanding individual to the stable. We will be offering her to partners within the next couple weeks.
8/5/13 - Bobby Jo finished third today in her race at Saratoga ass the 6/5 favorite. Bobby Jo made her typical gutsy move down the lane but it was only good for 3rd in a field with a lot of speed and over a track that is typically speed favoring.
8/3/13 - Bobby Jo will make her next start in the 6th race at Saratoga on Monday in an Allowance NW1x going 6 furlongs on the dirt. She has been installed as the 9/5 morning line favorite.
8/2/13 - Howaboutwe held on to score an impressive third yesterday in his debut at Saratoga. Reluctant to load into the gate, he sprung out of the gate to take the initial lead. He sat just off the pace around the far turn. Howaboutwe was in between horse at the top of the stretch and battled gamely down the lane to hang on for third.
7/30/13 - Howaboutwe will make his racing debut this Friday in the 2nd race at Saratoga in a NY Bred MSW for 2YO's going 5.5 furlongs on the dirt. Howaboutwe breaks from PP 7 under Irad Ortiz. Good luck to Howaboutwe and all his connections.
7/29/13 - We claimed River Boss out of the 5th race at Saratoga today in partnership with our friends at Epona Racing. River Boss was bumped at the start took up position at the rear of the field and made a move through the far turn to get up for 5th beaten by about 4 lengths.
7/22/13 - Howaboutwe turned in his final preparation for his first race this morning going 4 furlongs over the Oklahoma turf in 48.90 seconds. It was the 21st fastest breeze out of 49 moves at the distance.
7/14/13 - Howaboutwe competed in the 2YO Wait Time Trials at Saratoga today during the Open House. He finished 3rd beaten about two lengths. It was a good experience for the 2YO colt as he puts it all together.
7/8/13 - Howaboutwe arrived safely at Saratoga last week and breezed 4 furlongs for the first time over the Oklahoma training track in 50.70 seconds.
7/7/13 - Bobby Jo got a terrible ride today but finished a bold 3rd after fighting from far back in the field to get up for 3rd and just missing 2nd at the wire. She showed she can get a distance of ground and we look forward to her making her next start at Saratoga.

6/19/13 - Freddie Freud arrived safely at Jena Antonucci's barn at Belmont this morning. He shipped in good and will resume training at Belmont tomorrow.
6/14/13 - Bobby Jo finished 2nd in her race this evening at Belmont. Sent off as the 3/5 favorite, she stalked the leader down the backside and around the far turn. Bobby Jo was unable to run down the pace setter going wide around the turn and lost by a length. Another solid effort by Bobby Jo. After being claimed for $15k, she has earned $31k in three starts for her new connections.

5/10/13 - Going off as the 1/1 favorite, Bobby Jo ran another great and exciting race today at Belmont. She broke well and settled in behind the leaders on the rail. She stalked the pace setters around the turn. Castellano angled her out into the 3 path coming off the turn and rallied down the stretch to just catch the leader 3 strides before the wire. She lost in a head bob to finish second by a nose. Another great effort by Bobby Jo.

4/10/13 - Bobby Jo's first start for us was very impressive and exciting. She stumbled at the start, rushed up to stalk the leader and just missed finishing 2nd by half a length in a speedy 1.09.4. She earned a Beyer Speed figure of 83 for the effort. We look forward to seeing her progress further in her next start at Belmont next month.

3/1/13 - Late Starter finished a tight second today off short rest. He was unable to hold on for the win as the hard charging Visionary Man got up just in time to win by 3/4 length. Late Starter was claimed for the $50k tag. We wish his new owners the best of the luck with this talented runner.
2/25/13 - Late Starter will make his first start for the partnership this Friday, March 1st, in the 7th race at Aqueduct. It is a Starter Optional Claimer $50k going 1 mile 70 yards over the Big A Inner. Apprentice Jose Ortiz retains the mount as Late Starter looks to make it four in a row over the surface.
2/21/13 - Final Furlong Racing Stable claimed Late Start out of the 7th race at Aqueduct today in partnership with Epona Racing. In this effort, Late Starter won his third straight race by over 8 lenghts earning a 94 Beyer speed figure. Bruce Brown will train the 4YO gelding for the partnership.
2/8/13 - Our 2YO Freud colt is very close to selling out. We only have one 2.5% share available. He is doing great and is up to galloping a mile and a half each day on the farm in Ocala.
12/27/12 - Annelle finished another gutsy 2nd in her race today. It was her third 2nd in a row for us. She was claimed out of the race by Jamie Ness. We wish her new connections the best of luck. She was a fun filly to own.

12/17/12 - Union Boss has been retired from racing and has joined the Final Furlong broodmare band at Hidden Lake Farm. We look forward to supporting her as a broodmare and watching her foals race one day.

12/5/12 - Annelle finished second in her race today at Aqueduct. She broke well and lead the way through opening fractions of 47 flat. She gave up the lead at the top of the stretch but held on for a solid second place showing.
12/2/12 - Candy Raid had a 3 furlong blowout on Saturday in anticipation of her debut on Friday. The race was not used by the racing office but will be brought back for next Sunday.

11/15/12 - Annelle finishd 2nd in her race today at Aqueduct. She maintained the lead through the top of the stretch, then gave way to the eventual winner. She ran very well for her first race back in over 2 months. We will look for her next spot in the next week or so.

11/5/12 - Annelle breezed 5 furlongs in 1:02.57 seconds this morning over the Belmont Training Track. It was the 10th fastest breeze out of 25 moves at the distance.
10/27/12 - Final Furlong Racing Stable claimed Union Boss out of the 3rd race at Belmont on Saturday in partnership with G and O Farms. She will be trained by Jena Antonucci. The three year old daughter of Dixie Union already has 2 wins from 10 races. We look forward to her running for her new connections next month at Aqueduct.

She worked with a 2YO colt named Uncle Mitcho and was caught going 3 furlongs in 37 seconds and galloping out 5 furlongs in a strong 1.02.3 seconds. The 4 furlong time was 16th fastest of 25 works at the distance.
10/7/12 - Caution Flammable breezed 2 furlongs in company this morning, with another NY 2YO colt named Uncle Mitcho, and galloped out 3 furlongs in 38.3 seconds. The clockers gave Flame credit for the 3 furlong gallop out in 38.88 seconds.
10/2/12 - Candy Raid breezed 3 furlongs in 37.3 seconds this morning at Saratoga. She galloped out 4 furlongs in 51 seconds flat. The clockers gave her credit for the 4 furlong gallop out.
9/28/12 - Caution Flammable arrived at Jena Antonucci's barn in Saratoga this morning. He shipped in well and will continue training at Saratoga until we shift the barn to Belmont for the winter in about two weeks.
9/27/12 - Annelle breezed 5 furlongs in 1:02.88 seconds this morning at Saratoga. It was the 2nd fastest move out of 6 works at the distance. We will enter her next Thursday for a race on Sunday.
9/21/12 - Candy Raid had her first recorded breeze today. She breezed 3 furlongs in 39 seconds over the Oklahoma training track at Saratoga. She did it all on her own with no urging from the rider. She will work in company next week and we will ask a little more of her.
9/20/12 - Annelle fired the bullet this morning at Saratoga over the Oklahoma training track. She breezed 4 furlongs in 48.1 seconds.
9/18/12 - Annelle is currently training in Saratoga and is being pointed to a race at Belmont on October 7th.
9/13/12 - Candy Raid arrived at Jena Antonucci's barn in Saratoga, NY this afternoon. Candy Raid will be trained by Jena, who will soon be moving her string of horses down to Belmont next month.
9/9/12 - Candy Raid breezed 4 furlongs in 50 seconds flat over a muddy track on the farm in Ocala on Saturday. It was her third breeze at the distance. She is ready to ship up to NY. She will be on the next van leaving Ocala for NY.
9/2/12 - We are happy to announce our newest acquisition. Final Furlong Racing Stable claimed the 3YO filly Annelle out of the 6th race at Saratoga today in partnership with Epona Racing. Annelle is already a two time winner and is a very versatile runner proven on every surface. Bruce Brown will train Annelle for the partnership. We look forward to her running for her new connections during the Belmont Fall meet.
8/23/12 - Legal Affect finished 3rd in her race yesterday. She broke modestly well and quickly took back to run in last. She sat about 15 lengths off the leader and made her signature late move to get up for 3rd. She closes well every time which makes for a thrilling stretch run. She was so far back she did not have a chance at running for second. She lost to the leader by 11 lengths and to the second place finisher by 5. Legal Affect finished a length in front of B and B who beat Legal Affect by a few lengths in her last race.
