Dan Zanatta & Vince Roth, Managing Partners
Dan and Vince met in the early 2000's and together purchased a few shares of horses through various partnerships having both great success and unfortunate failure, learning a lot from the highest of highs and the lowest of lows from both an industry and syndicate perspective. As their love for the sport grew so did their knowledge and connections in the industry.
In early 2012 they set out on their own and formed Final Furlong, purchasing their first horse together in partnership with the breeder and a few friends. That horse finished 3rd first time out in a MSW at Belmont Park.
From that point on Dan and Vince set out to create a horse racing syndicate that makes all partners, no matter their investment % in the horse, equal in terms of access to their horse whether it be on the day of the race or just for a visit at the barn. They pride themselves on the abundance of information that is provided on each horse and make themselves available anytime to answer any and all questions partners have.
They have formed a top team of professionals around them to assist in all aspects of a horses career and look forward to having you as part of the team!
Jorge Abreu established his own public stable in 2016 after being the lead assistant to Chad Brown for nine years. Jorge galloped for John Terranova earlier in his career before assisting Nick Zito. Jorge earned instant success winning his first two starts at Saratoga and in his second full year of training is winning at an 18% clip. Hope’s Roar, Final Furlong’s first horse given to Jorge, broke her maiden at Saratoga and won two more races at Belmont and Gulfstream winning at a 25% clip and in the money 75% of the time under Jorge’s care. Jorge, better known as “George”, is also the trainer of our multiple stakes winner Espresso Shot.
